WHAT IS
CHANGE for CHANGE?

Change for Change is an annual community-wide holiday celebration with one simple mission — to spread love, joy, and hope to families and children in Dallas’s most underserved communities.

Hosted by the Williams Chicken Partners in Education nonprofit, this cherished tradition has touched the lives of nearly 20,000 families and children over the years.

The name Change for Change comes from a powerful idea: small acts of kindness can create big change. It all began with Williams Chicken customers donating their spare change to help provide Christmas gifts for children in need. That spirit of generosity— joined by the support of corporate partners, philanthropists, and friends—continues to transform lives every holiday season.

Your gift does more than brighten the holidays. It fuels our mission year-round, helping us nourish, support, and uplift the communities that need it most.

Beyond the Holidays: Year-Round Impact

The impact of Williams Chicken Partners in Education extends far beyond the holiday season. Our mission to nourish minds, bodies, and spirits continues throughout the year—empowering families and children in underserved communities with essential resources, encouragement, and opportunities to thrive.

In 2025, our commitment to giving back reached new heights. Together with our community partners, we:

  • Served thousands of students with backpacks, school supplies, and classroom essentials.
  • Supported nonprofits, churches, and local organizations through food donations and meal distributions.
  • Launched the Williams Chicken SOARS Program with Fort Worth ISD elementary schools to inspire academic achievement and leadership.
  • Introduced the 38 for 38 Campaign, celebrating 38 years in business with a year-round series of 38 acts of kindness across North Texas.
  • Collaborated on a Community Thanksgiving Giveaway, contributing 300 hens to help families enjoy a holiday meal together.
  • Continued to host community-wide celebrations, including Austin Street Shelter Sing & Serve—sharing thousands of Williams Chicken meals with unhoused families.

Each initiative reflects our ongoing dedication to serve, grow, and give back—creating lasting impact in the communities we call home.

WHO WE SERVE

At Williams Chicken Partners in Education, we are dedicated to reaching and supporting some of the most vulnerable populations in our community. Our efforts focus on providing resources, education, and support to uplift and empower children, youth, and families in underserved areas.

We proudly serve:

  • Children in southern Dallas, including various local organizations
  • Children and youth with an incarcerated parent through partnerships like Angel Tree
  • Children and youth from the YMCA on Hampton Road
